God is good… Got a new part of the war to pray about: my computer. I may have a virus… not sure. I may not. My scanners aren’t picking up anything, but it seems like I might have one. I’m prayin’ about switching to Linux. We’ll see what happens there.

Spiritual Warfare
Hey, everyone. Please be praying for me in the next couple of days. I’m getting hit hard with some things that I didn’t realize were spiritual warfare until now. I’ll try to let you know how I’m doin’ later.
Some cool ideas…
So, I’ve got some new ideas of things to do with FNL, but I don’t have the money to do all of them. I’d like to take the group out to do various fun activities / community projects like:
Read these like a MasterCard commercial…
– Going ice skating (about $70 for the whole group to go for one hour)
– Going bowling (about $60 for the whole group to go for two hours)
– Having some kind of outreach downtown to little kids with drama, baloons, and stuff (cost would be materials for skit props, baloons/pump, games, candy)
– Caroling (no cost here! = D)… Christmas is coming up, but I need to learn some Ukrainian Christmas carols… haha. It would be interesting to see if we could set up a table downtown and carol and pass out hot beverages and talk to people about Jesus… (maybe $20)
– Passing out clothing to the homeless (unknown – there are many thrift shops around the city… we’d pick up clothes there one evening and then go another evening to pass them out)
– Picking a random area downtown and picking up trash (materials to buy – trash bags, gloves for the whole group $10-30)
– Going around downtown and talking to people about Jesus (obviously, this wouldn’t cost much money except for transport, which runs about $12 for the group when we take the bus)
I don’t really want to ask the Ukrainians to pay for this stuff, because most of them are already struggling Financially.
If you have more ideas or would like to contribute, e-mail me at dsnead@ccbci.org (or just click on the Support the Work page), but make sure you send me an e-mail letting me know the money is for the FNL activities. Otherwise, I’ll probably spend it on groceries. =)
First Frozen Day…
Well… It’s official. It was -3 Celsius this morning (about 25 Fahrenheit). This is what it looked like out my window. When I first got up, I couldn’t see anything out my window, because the fog was so thick… In fact, the camera actually sees out the window a little better than my eyes do, for some reason. In Texas, this would be far past winter… haha. Pray my blood gets a little thicker.
