We have had an awesome time in Texas!

For the past two weeks, we’ve been spending time with David’s mom and her family in San Antonio, TX. We had a great time. Someone even rented a car for us while we were there! We got to hang out with David’s mom, sisters, one of his aunts, his cousin, and many others. David also had the opportunity to play, sing, and preach at a church. We took a lot of pictures and even a video! If you would like to listen to the sermon, click here. If you would like to listen to a song that he sang there, you can click on the video below:

We had a great Christmas!

We have had a great Christmas up here in Minnesota. We are visiting David’s dad and stepmom in St. Paul, and we’ve had an amazing time just hanging out with family. Here are some pictures from our time here:

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Merry Christmas, everyone! Thank you all for your love, prayers, and support! We are flying home to David’s dad today. We’ll be with him for about a week, then go visit David’s mom, and then move on to visiting other friends and the many churches that support our work here in Ukraine. Please be praying for this trip for us – it’s very important!

Pictures from our going away party…

We just had an amazing going away party with friends. It’s was so much like just a big family get-together… We will miss them all so much! Here are some pictures of it!

We had an awesome time! Everyone went around the room and told funny stories about how they met us or different cool experiences with us. It was a really blessed, encouraging time. There were about 30 people there all together, and we all had so many different memories to share… We thank God for such good friends!

Today’s Sermon: A Citizen’s Responsibility

davidbibleHere is the sermon I taught today! It’s both in English and Ukrainian – Katya was right by my side translating the whole thing! I really enjoy working together with her (she’s been translating for me since long before we were even dating). Unfortunately we didn’t get any pictures!!! We forgot to hand the camera off to someone else before I got up to preach.

The sermon is called “A Citizen’s Responsibility”. In light of the current events in Ukraine, I thought it would be a good topic to go over. If you like it, you can share it with your friends.
